If your MacBook is having issues charging or shuts down as soon as you unplug it, or just don’t stay charged as long as it used to, you probably need a new battery. You can check the health of it by the following.
- Click the apple in top left corner of your MacBook
- Click About This Mac, then System Report…
- On the left hand side, click Power
- You’ll find more specifics about your battery at the top of the window
Always best to get the problem fixed before it starts to swell like two I had to replace this week. Here is a pic of one of them.
