Chances are if you are like me, you have probably received this ominous looking email or a variation of it, trying to extort you into paying a ransom to keep private something that you didn’t or probably didn’t do ;). I have actually received it several times and to make it look even more realistic, it appears to come from your own email address but rest assured that it didn’t and it was only spoofed to look like your own. Your best course of action is to just ignore the email and run a malwarebytes scan to be on the safe side. If you think you need my help, just contact me.
